About me.

         I was born in Gliwice, Poland. When I was a small girl I had an accident that completely changed all my life and my attitude towards the world and people.
         My first painting - an abstraction - I painted with a brush held in my mouth - I was 15 years old then. Since 1995 I have the scholarschip of Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists. My favourite painting technique is oil on canvas and paper and sometimes the water-colour.
         I presented my works on numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad (Prague, Budapest, Kaliningrad, Hamburg).
         I write poems and short stories. I have published three books of poetry: "...jedna wielka zależność" ("...one Big Dependence"), Jesteśmy wśród was... ("We Are Among You"), and one published together with my collegue Ireneusz Słabicki: "białoczarne - czarnobiałe" ("White&Black, Black&White"). Many of my works were published in newspapers and some were awarded (I-st award on National Poetry Contest in Cracow in 1995, Award of the President of Gliwice for the young artists in 1998, I-st award at the National Writing Contest for my radio-play in 2006).
          Besides painting, poetry and literature I am interested in theatre as well. I graduated from the Cultural Studies at the Silesian University with a master's degree. My thesis was written about the theatrological creativity of famous Polish actor - Piotr Fronczewski. My supervsing professor was Ewa Dąbek-Derda. I have also finished post-graduate studies in psychology by presenting under supervision of dr Elżbieta Turska the subject about the perception of handicapped people in the Polish society.
         I am also active in social life. I am a member of Handicapped Association and a member of Art Association of Handicapped in Cracow.
         In 2009 I have graduated from Postgraduate Journalist Studies at the Silesian University in Katowice - my major was Public Relations. I have defended my dissertation entitled "Creating the image of company on the example of V.D.M.F.K" under the supervision of dr Bogdan Dzieciuchowicz.
